Actually this is my second day in MFA and we have already started our ground school. We need to attend 7 hours of ground school classes daily from 0800h to 1700h and sit for the Private Pilot License (PPL) exam in 2 weeks time. So quick, isn't it? Yup, the time flies very fast here.
And yet, we feel like waiting forever before we can move to the next stage i.e. the flying phase. It's coz we need to finish our ground school first before we can start flying. By the way, our flying phase is scheduled to be in February 2010. Can't wait any longer! Huhuhu~ :)
Anyway, since it's a long way to go we'll just deal on the ground first, shall we? Speaking of Ground School, it so happened that our very first subject is Air Law. So ironic, isn't it? Hehehe~ Apart from Air Law, other subjects are Navigation, Meteorology, Theory of Flight, Instruments, Piston Engine, Basic Electrics, Airframe System, Radio Aids, Human Performance Limitations and Radio Telephony.
We need to pass all the ground school exams with the minimum passing marks of 75% and we only have 2-3 weeks before sitting for the exams. Who says flying is easy? Anyway, check out da pics ;P
After you have passed all the Private Pilot License ground school subjects and clocked 40 hours of flying the single engine aircraft, then you can wear the Red Bar epaulette ;p
